He was predeceased by: his parents, Isa Hoff Swisher and Frank Swisher. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Bodkin Swisher; his children, Peggy Ann Swisher, Susan Marie Carter (Brian) and Heaven; and his grandchildren, Lindsay Sodee (Josh), Dr. Lauren Carter Lyles (Nate), David Tubbs and Eric Tubbs. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and great-nephews and nieces.
