He was predeceased by: his parents, C. L. Ramsey and Pauline Ramsey (Fitzgerald); his brothers, Les, Jack and Jerry Ramsey; and his sisters-in-law, Arlene, Becky and Brenda Ramsey.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Ramsey (Strait); his son Stephen; his daughter-in-law Thea Ramsey; his grandsons, Sawyer of Macon, Georgia. and Owen Ramsey of Macon, Georgia.; and his brother Michael Ramsey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and numerous friends.
