He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Elvin and Sarah Frances Eckard Hodge; his wife Dorothy Hodge; his daughter Brenda Kay Shifflett; his grandson Michael Hodge; and his siblings, Roy, Charles, Claude, Eugene Hodge, Geneva Tallman, Sylvia Eisman, Glenna Campbell, Betty Harris and Marie Davis.
He is survived by: his son Clarence W. Hodge, Jr. (Judy Hodge); and his sisters, Shirley Newlen of Timberville and Juanita Campbell of Mount Crawford. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
