He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlin Nevill, Sr. and Rachael Elizabeth Hatten Rose; and his brother Charles Douglas Rose, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Goldstein Rose; his sister Nancy Lee Rose Bevis; and his nephew Charles "Chuck" Douglas Rose, Jr..

A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Henry Funeral Home (1030 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401).
