He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Shaver and Wilma Shaver Zirk (Eye); and his sisters, Mary Dettra and Martha Clarke. He is survived by: his children, Byrl Shaver, II (Janet), James Shaver (Lee) of Allenhurst, GA, Elizabeth Cooke of Staunton and Paul Shaver (Kimberly); his brother Benny Shaver (JoAnn) of Peru, WV; and his grandchildren, Joseph Shaver, Jeremiah Shaver, Joshua Shaver, Joel Shaver, Derek Cooke, Jason Cooke, Aaron Shaver and Annaka Shaver. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
