He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernal Rex and Sara Francis Abshire Worrell; his daughter Bobbie Jean Worrell Sprouse; his siblings, Brenda Lilly Worrell Hites, William Franklin, Richard Edwin, Blaine Augustus and Floyd Worrell; and his sister-in-law Della June Roberts Worrell.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Anne Hardy Worrell; his daughter Tamara Leigh McCray; and his siblings, Larry Rex Worrell, Sr. (Ellie) and Linda Sue Worrell Kidd (Steve). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
