With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lou Wenger of Staunton, Virginia, born in Mathias, West Virginia, who passed away on June 26, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Waldo Thurman and Reta Mae Dispanet Wilkins; and her husband Charles "Pete" L. Wenger. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Strawderman (Gerald) of Linville and Charles "Chuck" Wenger (Crystal) of Linville; her siblings, Elwood Dow Wilkins of Mathias, JoAn Clem of Bayse and Judy Fansler (Roger) of Mathias; her grandchildren, Carenda Strawderman (Matt Cox) and Blair Strawderman; her close friend James "Jim" Whitlock of Staunton; and also, Kenneth Whitlock of Waynesboro and Debbie Johnson of Louisville, Kentucky..
