Barbara Kay Shaner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Kay Shaner of Staunton, Virginia, who passed away on March 24, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Coffey and Ruby Coffey; her siblings, Wilson Coffey, Audrey Garber (John) and Maxine Ford (Jack); and her nieces, Dana and Denise.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Lynn Shaner; her children, Victoria Lynn Stevens (J. B.), Keith Allen Shaner (Kaye) and Corey Douglas Shaner; her grandchildren, Matthew Fitzgerald (Heather), Katie Miller (Josh), Dean Shaner, Hailey Chittum, John Shaner (Gracie) and Christopher Fitzgerald (Meah); her brothers, Hedley Coffey and David Coffey; and her friend Debbie Morris.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (2807 N Augusta St, Staunton, VA 24401).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 2807 N. Augusta St., Staunton, VA 24401, in Barbara's honor.
