He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Wright and Hazel Cameron Wilson; his wife Dorothy Ann Martin Wilson; his daughter Ruth Ann Wilson; and his siblings, Newell Cameron Wilson, Sarah Jane Wilson, Beverly Wilson Horton and Laverne Wilson Baxter.
He is survived by: his children, April May Wilson, Samuel David and Joseph Daniel Wilson; his grandchildren, Paige Wilson, Sarah Mowles, Alexander Menner and Christian Menner; and his great grandchild Caela Buchanan.
