He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kathy" Fleming of Winchester; his son James "JD" Fleming (Yvette) of Strasburg; his granddaughters, Makayla Renae Miley and Jessie Ruger Brill Fleming; and his sisters, Jessie King, Natalie Carter and Betty Conner. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
