He is survived by: his wife Ruth Jean Spicer of Star Tannery; his sons, Joe Samuel Spicer, Boyd Jonathan Spicer and Jason Edward Spicer; and his brother Donnie Spicer. He is also survived by six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
