He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Vera and Mollie Mae Green Wymer; and his brothers, Robert "Bobby" Wymer and Kenneth Wymer. He is survived by: his daughter Sherry Wymer Powell (James) of Star Tannery, VA; his grandsons, James Kevin Powell, Jr. (Cynthia), Justin Allen Powell (Tiffany) and John David Powell; his great grandchildren, Bailey Lynn Powell, Hayleigh Paige Powell, Emmerson Powell and Levi Powell; and his sister Helen Gertrude Keller. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stover Funeral Home (177 N Holliday St, Strasburg, VA 22657). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
