He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Vera and Mollie Mae Green Wymer; and his brothers, Robert "Bobby" Wymer and Kenneth Wymer. He is survived by: his daughter Sherry Wymer Powell (James) of Star Tannery, VA; his grandsons, James Kevin Powell, Jr. (Cynthia), Justin Allen Powell (Tiffany) and John David Powell; his great grandchildren, Bailey Lynn Powell, Hayleigh Paige Powell, Emmerson Powell and Levi Powell; and his sister Helen Gertrude Keller. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
