He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Sale "Buck" and Indola Reynolds McIlwee; and his grandson Aaron Mark McIlwee. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Carper McIlwee of Star Tannery; his children, Jeanne McIlwee Broy (Phil) of Maurertown, VA and Dennis Lee McIlwee (Tina) of Lebanon Church, VA; his grandchildren, Justin Lee McIlwee and Nicole Lynn McIlwee; and his sister Neva Strosnider of Maurertown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
