He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mathieson and Josephine Mathieson; and his siblings, Dorothy "Dot" Waller and Robert Mathieson. He is survived by: his wife Darlene J. Howes; his children, Heather McIntyre, Jaymi Mathieson, Valerie Howes, Aaron Mathieson, Casey Mathieson, Daniel Gallo and Matthew Gallo; his grandchildren, Katelyn, Madelyn, Jazlene, Emma Gallo, Sophie McIntyre, Christian Miller and Morgan Mathieson; his great grandchild Natalie; and his siblings, Marge Montague, Marion Tew and Edward Mathieson.
