She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Woodward and Mertye Woodward; her husband Joseph Lee Lucas of Stanley; her siblings, Jean Jewell and Arthur Woodward; and her sons-in-law, Larry Stanley and Alvin Hensley.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Lee Lucas, Sr., Diane Stanley of Stanley, VA, Phyllis Kisling (Roger), Vickie Hensley of Elkton, VA, Brenda Fincham (Mike) of Stanley, VA and Lisa Turner (Mark) of Shenandoah, VA.; and her siblings, Doris Scott, Peggy Jewell and David Woodward. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
