She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley Calvin Bates; her son Jeffrey Ross Bates; and her grandson Brandon Lewis Bates. She is survived by: her children, Stanley Bates II, Lora Eddington (Bill) and Lisa Geier (Dan); her daughter-in-law Bonnie McHaney; and her grandchildren, Brian Ross (Lauren), Christopher Geier, Zachary Geier, James Eddington, Stanley Bates III, Anthony Bates (Melissa), Lorrisa Wilkerson (Wes), Jason Bates (Laura), Joshua Bates (Christy Lynn), Jacob Bates (Kelly) and Colton McHaney. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
