She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Wallace, Sr. and Mary Sears Wallace; and her husband Stanley Arthur Holmes, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Loretta Holmes (Thomas), Diane King, Patty Braswell, Joyce Hoadley (Robert), Archie Holmes (Darlene) and Steve Holmes (Barbara); and her siblings, Elizabeth Kimbler and Archie Wallace, Jr.. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
