He is survived by: his wife Nellie Hensley Tharp; his children, Gregory, Joseph Adam Tharp, Mary Phillips (James) and Katelyn Lucas; his siblings, Junior Tharp, Dixie Cubbage, Ethel Baber and Sherlon Stoneberger; and his grandchildren, Landon Phillips, Cierra Tharp, Celsey Tharp, Dalton Jenkins, Ryan Lam, Leaira Good, Aiden Cave, Autumn Cave and Kaylee Cave.
