James B. Sampson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2022, at the age of 79, James B. Sampson of Stanley, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James B. Sampson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Sampson and Willie Breeden Sampson; and his siblings, Thurman, Melvin, Charles, Franklin, Harry, Kenneth Sampson, Hilda Merica and Charlotte Weeks.
He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Sampson; his daughters, Mindy Sherfey (Matthew), Jamie Sampson and Stacey Cave (James); his siblings, Rebecca Hudson, Carrie Leigh Moyers, Eleanor May and John Sampson; and his grandchildren, Cadence, Matthew James Sherfey, Morgan and Dustin Good. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stanley Volunteer Rescue Squad, 933 W. Main St., Stanley, VA 22851.
