He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pickett and Anna Mae Herring Shifflett; his siblings, Harold Shifflett and Betty Shifflett; and his grandchild Brooke.
He is survived by: his sons, Chris Campbell of Stanley, Jerry Campbell of Shenandoah, Joey Shifflett of Stanley, Jeremy Shifflett (Ashlie) of New Market, Darold Shifflett Jr. (Brittany) of Stanley and Todd Shifflett (Jennifer) of Stanley; his sister Joyce Sipe (Carl) of Shenandoah; and his grandchildren, LJ, Dylan, Lindsey, Katie, Trenton, Autumn, Alexis, Jacob, Eli, Jeremy Jr., Trista and Jerry Jr..
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shifflett family to help offset any funeral expenses.
