It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Benjamin McMullen of Stanardsville, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on March 1, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Benjamin and Mary Belle Amos McMullen; his daughter Cindy Kay McMullen Ragsdale; and his brother Emmett McMullen. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Taylor McMullen; his sons, William "Michael" McMullen, Kemper "Ed" McMullen and Charles Robert "Chuck" McMullen; and his grandchildren, Felicia McMullen, Robbie McMullen, Jessica McMullen and Mary Julia McMullen. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
