With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Polly Taylor Shifflett (Stanardsville, Virginia), who passed away on April 6, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Taylor and Gertie Taylor; her husband Lawrence Shifflett; her grandson Chaz Tinder; and her sisters, Margaret Wood, Betty Taylor and Alice "Hoochie" Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, James Shifflett (Theresa McIntosh), Matthew Shifflett (Rhonda Mullins), Mark Shifflett and Margaret Shifflett (Jody Rogers); her sister Mary Marshall; her grandchildren, Taylor "Tess" Shifflett, Catoria Shifflett, Mark Shifflett, Jr., Lawrence Shifflett, Chastyn Tinder, Katelynn Shifflett, Abilene Shifflett, Mercedes Shifflett, Cale Dakota Sprouse, Richard Finley, IV, Jody Rogers and Morgan Rogers; and her stepgrandchildren, Chasidy Rogers and Megan Rogers. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
