She was predeceased by: her husband Solomon Shifflett; her son Roy Shifflett; and her brother Prentice Rodgers. She is survived by: her daughters, Marie Shifflett (Willard) and Wanda Morris (Carroll); her sisters, Addie Smith and Dolly Cash; her grandchildren, Gail Cook, Laura Ann Collier, Derek Lawson, Randy Higgins, Matthew Morris, Lisa Smith, Mindy Taylor and Brian Shifflett; her daughter-in-law Hope Shifflett; and her sister-in-law Betty Rodgers. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
