It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Diehl Bender of Stanardsville, Virginia, born in Northumberland, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 1, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert C. Diehl and Mabel Seely Diehl; and her husband Charles Bender. She is survived by: her children, Beth Friedmann (Greg), Linda Boyle (Chuck) and Charles Bender; her grandchildren, Alex (Pauline), Glenn, Hannah Bender, Kelly, Michael Friedmann and Eileen Boyle; and her great grandchildren, Cordelia and William Bender. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
