He was predeceased by: his parents, Lebert Brown Deane and Bernice Shifflett Deane; and his wife Deborah Garth Deane. He is survived by: his daughter Amy Lynne Deane; his grandchildren, Bailey W. Legg (Cory) of Stanardsville, Alexis W. Williamson (Mark) of Stanardsville and Jacob O. Wayland of Stanardsville; his brother-in-law Michael Garth; his nieces, Diane and Lois; and his close friends, Steve, Sharon Morris, Gary and Jean Sims. He is also survived by niece, nephews, and numerous cousins.
