It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Ramsey Mayhew of Stanardsville, Virginia, who passed away on September 9, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Mayhew and Annie Mayhew of Gretna; and his brother Wayne Mayhew of Hurt. He is survived by: his wife Carole Mayhew (Moore); his sons, Phil Mayhew (Traci) of Hagerstown, Paul Mayhew (W. Va) of Harpers Ferry and Patrick Mayhew (Brandi) of Zion Crossroads; his grandchildren, Finn Mayhew, Dalton Mayhew and Avery Mayhew; his siblings, Roger Mayhew of Gretna and Faye Craddock of Henderson, N. C.; and his friends, Beverley Taylor and Bill Wade. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Greene County Rescue Squad or the Madison-Greene Humane Society would be appreciated.
