He is survived by: his parents, Ella Gibson and Nelson Gibson; his brother Nelson Gibson; his grandmother Gloria Gibson; and his aunts and uncles, Denise Thomas (Mark), Juanita Morris (Earl), Bonnie Dunivan, Patsy Lam (Roger), Carlton Huff (Patricia), Gene Gibson and Dale Gibson. He is also survived by many other family members including cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Batten Funeral Home (12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at 3589 Middle River Rd, Stanardsville, VA 22973.
