It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Elizabeth Tharp of Stanardsville, Virginia, born in Woodstock, Virginia, who passed away on July 14, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles William Reedy and Fannie Elizabeth Reedy; and her husband John Lloyd Tharp. She is survived by: her children, James Tharp (Debbie) of Edinburg, VA and Sue Osborne (David) of Stanardsville, VA; her grandchildren, Patrei Ningen of Frederick, MD, Jamie Tharp (Mandy) of Edinburg, VA, Bradley Osborne (Kari) of St. Peters, MO and Lyndsey Daugherty (Kyle) of Oklahoma City, OK; her great grandchildren, Tyler Raymond, Ethan, Brooke Carr, Kali Bowers (Jake), Lilly, Sydney, Haley, Kelsey Tharp, Jackson and Oliver Daughtery; and her great great grandchild Jaxon Miller. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jane's memory to the Edinburg Volunteer Fire Department and/or Edinburg VFW Post 2447.
