It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Louis Stepp of Stanardsville, Virginia, who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Henry Stepp and Gladys Marie Shifflett Stepp; his siblings, Robert Harvey Stepp, Judith Ann Stepp Hensley, Violet Elaine Stepp Offenbacker and Reba Frances Stepp; and his grandson Dustin Stepp.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Conley; his children, Jennifer Stepp (Chris) of Elkton, VA, Jason Stepp (Deanna) of Shenandoah, VA and James Matthew Stepp (Tiffany) of Elkton, VA; his stepchildren, Denise Houchens (Chris) of Ruckersville, VA, Ricky and Dale Conley of White Hall, VA.; and his siblings, Margaret Marie Rinaca, Kenneth Franklin Stepp, Dale Stepp Dean, Jewell Croft, Raymond Arthur Stepp, Polly Monger, Eva Florence Huffman, Martin Stepp and Lois Morris. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
