It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Davis Taylor of Stanardsville, Virginia, born in Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Nellie Moore Taylor; and his wife Mattie Hall Taylor. He is survived by: his son Mark Taylor; his sisters, Pearline and Maxine; his grandchildren, Mason, Madison and Marlena Taylor; and his siblings-in-law, Bernice Palmer, Margaret Engle and Kenneth Hall. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
