With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glenna Ann Wood Shifflett of Stanardsville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward Wood and Nellie Gray Shifflett Wood; and her sisters, Frances Staton and Jean O'Brien. She is survived by: her husband Franklin L. Shifflett; her daughter Shari L. Collier (Mike); her sisters-in-law, Kathleen Collier, Joyce Estes and Wanda Hedges (Kevin); her nieces and nephews, Jeff Staton, Scott Morris, Scott Collier, Brandon Collier, Kevin Estes, Darryl Estes, Dwayne Courtney, Shannon Courtney, Jon Courtney, Kim Staton, Dana Jones, Wendy Brown, Cassie Shifflett and Megan Roach; her grandchildren, Christopher Conner and Tara Simmons; and her great grandchild Silas Houser.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel (59 Edgewood School Ln, Madison, VA 22727).
