He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lewis Lester and Cloa Agnes Blankenship Lester. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Mullins Lester; his daughters, Tresia Ferguson (Harold), Denise Monts (Sean), Jennifer Goins (Steve) and Paula Stafford (Jeffrey); his siblings, Gentry "Buddy" Lester and Beulah "Beut" Yost; and also, Cary Lane, Leukemia Society and Stanardsville Baptist Church. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and their respective spouses, 23 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
