He is survived by: his pets, Smokey and Lucky; his wife Helen Morris; his children, Debbie Kay Shifflett (Larry), Richard Morris, Carolyn Morris, Brenda Lawson (Joe) and Wendy Morris; his siblings, Frank Morris (Donna), Kenneth Morris, Greg Morris, Shirley Flora, Hazeltine Shifflett, Lois Raines (Jack), Doris Shifflett and Ruby Martin; his grandchildren, Travis Shifflett (Brandi), Richard Morris, Jr. (Jennifer), Joey Lawson, Kimberly Horne (Matthew), Matthew Lawson and Whitney Hector; and his great grandchildren, Avery, Reagan, Jillian Shifflett, Gracen, Eva Morris, Cooper and Waylon Horne.
