He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Everette and Dorothy Breeden. He is survived by: his parents, Rodney Tate and Kim Tate; his brother Lance; his grandparents, Sue, Tom Hatch, Monte and Martha Tate; and his pets, Ruger and Willow.

Drew worked as a Covid Vaccination Site Coordinator for the Blueridge Health District.
