He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy. He is survived by: his children, William Bryan Cox, Jeffrey Vincent Cox, Janet Laura Morgan and Thomas Victor Cox; and his siblings, Robert Cox, Kevin Cox and Diane Murphy. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
