He is survived by: his children, Mervel "Gene" Rogers II (Debbi) and Meredith Gowen (Steve); his grandchildren, Mervel "Trey" Rogers III, Mark "Eddie" Rogers, Kyle Rogers, Kristopher Rogers, Brooke Rogers, Tyler Carlson, Krystle Rogers and Taylor Gowen; and his great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Jesiah, Jace, Ollie, Mark, Lincoln, Evie and Dorian.
