She was predeceased by: her parents, George Shackelford and Elizabeth Shackelford; her siblings, Peggy Hicks, George "Moose" Shackelford and Stanley "Peanut" Shackelford; and her granddaughter Samantha Jean O'Shea.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary "Kathy" Brooks (Steve); her grandsons, Steven Brooks Jr. of Spotsylvania, VA, Michael Brooks of Spotsylvania, VA and Joshua Brooks of Spotsylvania, VA; her siblings, Elizabeth "Annie" Mullins (Gene) of Davy, WV, Georgianna "Georgie" Davidson (Howard) of Princeton, WV., Charles "Dennie" Shackelford (Vicki) of Stafford, VA. and James "Duck" Shackelford (Shelly) of Stafford, VA.; her sister-in-law Donna Kile; and her former husband John O'Shea. She is also survived by several uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
