She was predeceased by: her husband Ira Wendell Schell; her daughter Sherri Lynne Schell; her grandchildren, Kimberly Rachel Schell and Timothy Ira Schell; and her parents, Tillman Grimes and Edna Grimes.
She is survived by: her children, Ira Wendell Schell Jr., Melanie Kay Schell and Gregory Paul Schell (Amanda); her grandchildren, Aaron Lee Robinson and Emily Nicole Robinson; and her brother Randolph Grimes (Bonnie). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
