He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Smith and Cordia Dabney Smith; and his siblings, Larry, Eugene Sr., Nightsicarlen "Nightie" and O'Deral.
He is survived by: his wife Hope J. Smith; his son Christopher S. Smith; his granddaughter Kayla Hill; his great grandchild Marleigh; his grandchildren, Alanna Hill, Laura Hill, Christopher S. Smith, Jr., Kash and Phoenix; his siblings, Michael Smith and Gloria Byrd; and also Krystal Commers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
