It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Marie Noonan (Stafford, Virginia), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Moquin and Anne Moquin (Danahy); her siblings, Robert Moquin, Carol Ames, John Moquin, Daniel Moquin, Richard Moquin and Thomas Moquin; her siblings-in-law, William McDonough, John Cadotte and Marjorie Whitney; and her nieces and nephews, Thomas P. Noonan and Trevor P. Noonan.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Peter Noonan; her children, Timothy P. Noonan (Judy), Darby James Noonan (Wendy), Shawn P. Noonan (Tina) and Tina M. Noonan; and her siblings, Sandra McDonough, James Moquin (Margaret), William Moquin (Cynthia), Elizabeth Cadotte, Claire Schneider (Richard), Laura Moquin, Cynthia Lively (Paul) and Jacqueline Moquin-Vaudo (Daniel). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren and many numerous nieces, nephews.
A reception was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service (186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, VA 22554).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to: American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 in loving memory of Joan Marie Noonan.
