She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Clark Surles and Mary Jane Powell Surles; and her husband James E. Crouse. She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa C. Walters (Andy Cass) of Stafford County, Tina C. Rhea (John) of Stafford County and Janey C. Terry (Bill) of Staunton; and her grandchildren, James, Brittany, Jai, John Michael, Tucker and Hayden. She is also survived by her siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Covenant Funeral Service - Fredericksburg (10830 Patriot Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22408). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (3702 Loren Dr, Fredericksburg, VA 22408).
The Family would like to express their appreciation to the Mary Washington Hospice nurses and aides, who attended to both Mrs. Crouse and the family during this time of loss, by requesting donations to Mary Washington Hospice in lieu of flowers.
