George Walter left this world on February 21, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Michalick and Joseph Michalick; and his siblings, Barbara Hobbs and Stanley Michalick. He is survived by: his wife Anna Marie Michalick; his children, George "Butch" Michalick Jr. (Diane), Mark Michalick, Linda Michalick, Maria Weeks (Ryan), Lisa Zawoiski (Mike), Michelle Draxton (Mark) and Anthony Michalick (Jackie); and his siblings, Mary Jane Stutzman and Joseph Michalick. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Covenant Funeral Service - Stafford (1310 Courthouse Rd, Stafford, VA 22554). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. William of York Catholic Church (3130 Richmond Hwy, Stafford, VA 22554). A burial will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Quantico National Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude's or Tunnel to Towers Foundations in George's memory.
