She is survived by: her husband Gordon Jack Deskins; her son Derrick Jason Deskins (Ashley); her grandchildren, Aria and Colter of Fredericksburg, Virginia; her daughter Dessa Rana Minno (Lee); her grandchildren, Kacey, Evan and Anna of Fauquier; and also Carrie Lynn Deskins. She is also survived by her family and friends.
As an expression of sympathy, the family suggest memorial contributions if desired, in lieu of flowers, Donations be made to Debra's granddaughter, Aria Noelle Deskins who fought the battle alongside her grandmother.
