She was predeceased by: her parents, Embrey Young and Lorraine Young; and her siblings, Samuel Lee Young, Sr. and Gloria Jean Young. She is survived by: her husband Donnie Reed; her sister Bertha Meyer; her nephew Dwayne Young; and her cousins, Kenneth Eugene Leight, Sr., Carolina Mae Wines (Leight) and Terry Huffman. She is also survived by aunt and older sister figure to a lot of her other family.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Royston Funeral Homes - Marshall (4125 Rectortown Rd, Marshall, VA 20115). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
