He was predeceased by: his father Lan Ching Shiu (Yuk Chan). He is survived by: his children, Mei Shan Yam and Shing Wai Yam; his in-laws, Mei Yam (Aaron Johnson) and Shing Yam (Khanh Nguyen); his siblings, LiPing Ren (LaiFun Yam) and YiWen Ren (LaiKuen Yam); his grandchildren, Emily Yam, Joseph Yam and Amir Johnson; and his nieces and nephews, Jean Yim, Jodi Yim, Alan Lam, Carrie Lam, ChenJie Ren and Alice Tsang. He is also survived by his brother and his three sisters, and then to his wife, his daughter, and his son.
