He was predeceased by: his parent Raul Wilkins Barrigan Sr.; and his siblings, Robert Shelton, Lucille Viola, Raoul Wilkins, George Sherman, Rosemary Wilkins and Caroline Delacy.

He is survived by: his parent Jessie Shelton; his children, Michael, James (Cynthia), Lisa (Richard), Deborah and Susan; his grandchildren, Matthew and Maks; and his sister Virginia Mae. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
