Rosie Lee Meadows Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosie Lee Meadows of Springfield, Virginia, who passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Meadows and Lessie Meadows; her brothers, Kermit Freeman (Thelma Fink), Bradie Meadows (Norma "Evelyn" Bowling) and James Meadows (Loretta "Faye" Farley); her daughter JoAnn Coleman; and her son-in-law James Donny Coleman.
She is survived by: her children, Earl Shrewsbury (Carlotta) of Hinton, WV, Donna Wing (Timothy) of Drums, PA, Lois Hammel (Christopher) of Springfield, VA and Nora Strawder (Donald) of Springfield, VA.; her grandchildren, Timothy Jeffers, Renee Chung, Timothy Wing II, Laura Shrewsbury, Alexander Hammel, Kenneth Arnold and Thomasine Hoak; her great grandchildren, Courtney St. Pierre, Marleigh Chung, Christopher St. Pierre, Brayden Hoak, Emma Hoak, Cassidy Arnold, Morgan Arnold, Kai Arnold and Skylar Arnold; her sisters, Doris Karnes of Spanishburg, WV and Annie Shumate of Rhodell, WV.; her sister-in-law Norma Meadows of Cool Ridge, WV; her close friends, Gayle and J. T. Head of Broadway, VA; and her pets, Alexa and Buddy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
