He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Thomson and Lenore Goltry Thomson; and his grandson Christopher Daniel Saverude. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Ann Rosaler Thomson; his brother Larry Elwood Thomson; his sons, William David Thomson of Springfield, Richard Daniel Thomson (Nicole Ann Thomson) of Land and John Douglas Thomson (Brenda Joy Mills); and his grandchildren, David Michael Thomson and Stephanie Alyse Thomson.
