It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn A. McDonald of Springfield, Virginia, who passed away on March 25, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Christopher A. McDonald. She is survived by: her children, Diane Marie McDonald Strickland, Deborah Ann, Christopher Harlan (Su Roczen), Daniel Robert (Shelly) and Bradley Alan McDonald (Beth); her grandchildren, Chris Strickland (Ana Aviles), Molly Astudillo (Michael), Josh (Annie), Joe (Stephanie), Sean and Erin McDonald; her great grandchildren, Samantha, Katie, Anthony Astudillo, Danny Stafford, Jacob Strickland and Finnegan McDonald; and her friend Olivia Perkins. She is also survived by family raising five children and welcoming extended family.
