He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Nader Powell. He is survived by: his children, Ruthann P. Coleman, James W. Powell Jr. and Gregory D. Powell (Nancy); his grandchildren, Ryan, Tori Powell and James Kurth; and his brother John R. Powell (Dorothy).
As Elaine was a kidney transplant recipient the family asks that in lieu of anything else a donation may be made to the National Kidney Foundation in Jim's honor.
